Do you want to make a difference to the role of higher education in the international context? Working for Nuffic means working in an inspiring environment where Dutch government policy meets the coalface.
Nuffic is the Netherlands organisation for international cooperation in higher education. We are a service provider and act as intermediary between Dutch higher education and the higher education sector in other countries. Nuffic has a workforce of about 250. Around 200 people work at the head office in The Hague, the rest work at our Netherlands Education Support Offices (Nesos) in Southeast Asia and North & South America.
Challenge
Nuffic offers its staff a challenging place to work, with an emphasis on teamwork and individual responsibility. We focus on organisational goals as well as personal development, in an informal atmosphere.
Our organisation
Nuffic is made up of four Directorates: Capacity Building & Scholarships, Communication, Knowledge & Innovation, and Business Support. Together with the Director-General, two Directors make up the Board of Directors. Each Directorate is divided into departments, and some departments are again divided into teams.
As from 2010, all Nuffic work processes are certified in accordance with the standards set down in ISO 9001:2008. This means that Nuffic has laid down a structured framework for quality management.
Employment terms and benefits
Nuffic offers attractive employment terms, including 8 per cent holiday allowance, 8.3 per cent year-end bonus, a pension scheme and ‘pick & mix’ benefit options. In addition, Nuffic offers opportunities for personal development through courses, training and coaching.
