The administration of international academic mobility programmes and institutional cooperation programmes is Nuffic’s key expertise.
Nuffic’s most important contract partners are the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture & Science and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The European Union is also a key partner.
At the end of 2010 Nuffic in The Hague employed 219 people (including the Nuffic Neso directors). Forty-nine local employees worked at the Nuffic Neso offices around the world.
The total sum of programme funding Nuffic spent in 2010 was € 151 million. Nuffic spent € 24.9 million on salaries and other operating costs. For information on Nuffic's programme funding by donor, see the pie chart below.
