Mr Arie Nieuwenhuijzen Kruseman

Arie Nieuwenhuijzen Kruseman (1949) is an internist/endocrinologist at Maastricht University Medical Centre and Professor of Medicine at Maastricht University. Since 2009 he has been president of the Royal Dutch Medical Association (KNMG); he will hold this position until the end of 2012.
Previously Mr Kruseman was Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Maastricht University (1995–1997) and Rector Magnificus at the same university (1998–2003).
In August 2011 he joined Nuffic’s Board of Trustees as Vice-Chair. He will assume the position of Chair at the end of 2012.
Mr Kruseman is a member of the Remuneration Committee.
