NFP students well-represented at NL4Talents

On 23 February the first edition of NL4Talents took place. About 1,000 talented international students and invitees gathered in The Hague to engage in networking and get information on working in the Netherlands. Among the international students attending the event there were many students with a fellowship of the Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP).

Indonesian alumni meet Minister Timmermans

During his recent visit to Jakarta, the Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs Frans Timmermans hosted an event for more than 70 alumni representing a wide range of Dutch higher education institutions. The event at the Erasmus Huis in Jakarta was organised by the Embassy and Nuffic Neso Indonesia.

Thailand continues One-District-One-Scholarship Programme

Recently the Thai government approved the fourth round of the One-District-One-Scholarship (ODOS) programme for 2013-2014. A total of 1,856 scholarships will be awarded, which is twice as many as last year. The government has approved a budget of 14,000 million baht (about € 350 million) to be spent over the next seven years.

The first Nuffic Neso Open Day

The very first Nuffic Neso Open Day was held on 19 February in the Hague and was well attended by 85 representatives of Dutch higher education institutions. The aim of the event was to connect the Dutch higher education institutions with the Nuffic Neso offices. Nuffic management and all the Nuffic Neso directors were present.
