Study in Holland: ready for take-off!
The start of a new academic year brings about new energy, an empty page ready to be filled in with new ideas and plans. This also goes for Study in Holland and its activities for the upcoming academic year.
The last six months were mainly focused on the launch of both Studyfinder and the Study in Holland website and we now look forward to the upcoming, academic year. The website will continue to be improved, for instance with the new branding toolkit, supporting Dutch higher education institutions in strengthening their international promotional activities.
Video testimonials
The new checklist provides students with a tailor-made advice on how to prepare themselves properly for their studies in Holland. Another feature will be a series of five short video testimonials, in which international students and alumni share their experiences on studying in Holland. Each video deals with a different theme, such as ‘Why study in Holland?’, ‘Pre-departure’ or ‘Holland Alumni’.
The videos will become available by the end of 2012, and will be added to the branding toolkit. If you know international students who would be interested in participating in these videos, please let us know before 10 September, by sending an email to studyinholland[at]nuffic.nl
Interactive contest
The unique selling points (USPs) for Study in Holland (Pioneering, Creative, Connected) will get a boost in an online contest. Students will be invited and challenged to share their ideas (with photo or video) on the different USPs, in an interactive contest. This will not only enhance the online Study in Holland promotion, but will also provide lots of new content on what makes studying in Holland so unique through the eyes of the student!
Apart from our online activities, we also publish several useful publications: the recently updated, pocket-size Overview of degree programmes is now available for download from our website. In addition, for a small fee, universities can order the Living in Holland-booklet: a practical guidebook for international students.
