Shaping the future: Dutch cooperation in post-secondary education
Future Dutch development cooperation programmes in post-secondary education and training should be more closely linked to four priority areas of the Dutch development cooperation policy. This is what the Netherlands Minister for European Affairs and International Cooperation Dr Ben Knapen stated at the Shaping the future conference, held on 2 and 3 July in The Hague.
The priority areas are:
- water
- food security
- sexual and reproductive health and rights
- security and the rule of law.
At the conference, organised by Nuffic on behalf of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the evaluations of the current cooperation programmes NPT, NFP and NICHE were discussed.
