Nuffic launches update of MINT tool
Nuffic’s MINT tool has been updated based on recent developments in internationalisation as well as feedback from users. The MINT tool aims to support higher education institutions by providing them with a complete overview of their internationalisation policy, activities and facilities.
MINT combines a self-evaluation tool with a comparison and benchmarking tool. The tool can be used at various levels within a higher education institution, including the central and individual study programme levels.
The categories included in the tool – goals, activities, facilities, quality assurance and key figures – have now been extended with the category ‘outcomes’.
Additions and improvements
In addition, items have been added such as the activity cluster ‘Transnational education’ covering a number of new activities. Finally, technical changes have been made to improve the usability of the tool.
