New search engine for study programmes
In www.studyfinder.nl, Nuffic presents a complete, reliable and up–to-date overview of all study programmes taught in English at Dutch higher education institutions. This new search engine was developed as part of the Red Carpet Programme. This programme intends to smoothen the process international students go through when they want to study in Holland.
With the launch of Studyfinder, the Study in Holland website offers students all the information they need on studying in Holland on a single website.
Less administrative burdens
Studyfinder replaces the former ISPAC search engine and database. The organisations Studiekeuze123 (in combination with Hodex) and Nuffic integrated their systems to collect data. Higher education institutions now only need to provide their information once, to one central database; a decrease of the administrative burdens.
Supporting the study choice process
Studyfinder supports the students’ choice process. Students can search for study programmes based on criteria that are important to them. For example: the level of education, the field of study, or the description of a study programme and its courses.
The students can refine their search criteria and they can compare the results. This will allow them to find the programmes that best meet their requirements. The results also include direct links to the institutions’ websites.
Take a look at www.studyfinder.nl to see how the international study programmes from Dutch higher education institutions are presented.
