New alumni website and career portal
In February Nuffic will launch the new website of the Holland Alumni network. The website is now better aligned with the needs and wishes of international alumni and students as well as institutions’ staff members dealing with international alumni matters.
The redesign will help our web visitors to find the information they need as easily as possible. For example, contact details of Holland Alumni associations around the world and alumni offices of institutions have been given a more prominent place. The new website also contains extensive information for international students and alumni who wish to start a career in Holland.
Career portal
This part of the website will also be accessible directly via www.careerinholland.com. The career portal will be officially launched at NL4Talents, a new Nuffic event for international students in the final phase of their studies in the Netherlands.
Careerinholland.nl aims to retain international talent to strengthen the Dutch knowledge economy and its international competitiveness. The portal supports students' and alumni’s decision-making processes by providing reliable and up-to-date information. It contains advice on issues such as how to apply for a job in the Netherlands, how to find the right vacancies, what employers are looking for and Dutch business culture.
The portal supports not only international students willing to start a career in Holland but also helps Dutch higher education institutions in providing career services to foreign students.
The portal is a joint initiative of Nuffic and NL Agency (EVD International).
