Mexican technological university looking for Dutch partners
One campus of the largest private higher education institution in Mexico, Tec de Monterrey is eager to start international cooperation with Dutch institutions. The campus in Morelia is looking for partners in the fields of Architecture and Digital Art at bachelor’s level.
The Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM or Tec de Monterrey) is the largest private university in Mexico, with 33 campuses across the whole Mexican Republic. The origins of the institution go back to 1943 when a group of Mexican businessmen decided to create a higher education institution to give an impulse to the economic growth of Mexico.
The institution holds no political or religious affiliation. Currently all campuses of the Tec de Monterrey together host 91,084 students, of which 24,000 are upper secondary students, 50,000 are undergraduate students and about 18,000 are postgraduate students. The tuition fees are relatively high, which means that the majority of Tec de Monterrey students have the financial means to study abroad.
