It’s a typical Dutch canal house, just like tourists remember seeing in cities like Amsterdam. It has two big Dutch flags waving in the wind near the window on the fourth floor. The façade is painted bright orange. Study in Holland, the Nuffic initiative to promote Holland as a study destination, uses this image to make information about the Dutch higher education system easily accessible.

From the roof down

Scrolling down the infographic from the roof to the entrance door of the canal house, students get to know some fundamental facts about studying in Holland. From the creativity, connectedness and pioneering spirit the Dutch are known for, to information on the Dutch higher education system: the number of students, tuition fees and so on.

Local information for each Neso office

For each Nuffic Neso office a local version of the canal house was created with additional information that is relevant for local students, for example information about numbers of students from that country in Holland, or the most popular fields of study. The information is combined with images that prospective students in Neso countries can directly relate to: the colours of their own national flags, shirts of national football teams and the like.

Key role

With the infographic, Study in Holland hopes to reach out to as many (prospective) international students as possible. The canal house has been posted on Facebook, as there is no easier way to reach students all over the world today. The infographic was developed especially for the Study in Holland and Nuffic Neso social media channels, but can easily be used elsewhere on the internet as well.
