Description
The Netherlands values foreign students, very selfishly, because they contribute to the quality of our higher education.
The Netherlands values foreign knowledge workers, very selfishly, because they contribute to our economy and fill in shortages of highly educated professionals.
It is for these reasons that we are very interested in the factors (society, higher education institution, personal, fellow students), that bind foreign students to the Netherlands and motivate them to stay on. And naturally we also want to know which factors are bound to drive you away.
Session set-up
Prior to NL4Talents we have held interviews with final year foreign students and alumni in The Netherlands of The Hague University of Applied Sciences, as well as with foreign staff members. We also sent an online questionnaire to around 400 people in these three target groups.
During the workshop we will present the results of our research and discuss our findings and analysis with you. We hope you will help us validate and enrich the final publication!
