Description
During this workshop the students will get a short and interactive training in the essentials of the Dutch language. This includes meeting and greeting, telling time, ordering drinks and food, shopping and understanding essential signs on the street. We will practise all these items and the students will receive a ‘survival kit’ containing the most important words in Dutch.
Henk Noorland, who was voted teacher of the year 2010, will demonstrate how enjoyable it is to learn Dutch through music. He’ll bring his guitar and will perform a few songs. Everyone is invited to sing along and to learn some more Dutch words and phrases that are useful and easy to pick up.
