Change: why, when and how

The needs, expectations and dynamics of organisational change

Workshop round

2 and 3

Presenter

Niek Bakker, MDF Training & Consultancy

Description

In dealing with organisational change it is important to consider the needs for and the expected results of organisational change, as well as the inherent dynamics of change processes. Questions to consider include:

  • Why do we think a change process will make things better?
  • How do we move from the current situation to the desired future situation?
  • What are the expected requirements for achieving the desired change?
  • How are we all likely to react to the planned changes as people and as colleagues?

Session set-up

During the session you will engage into activities that will:

  • give you insight into the five major phases of the change cycle;
  • make you learn from experiences of the trainer and of other participants;
  • help you to reflect on your change issues;
  • assist you in planning your own change processes.

The session will be a combination of an interactive lecture, short exercises, discussion and reflection.
