Background of the Nuffic Blog
In this blog, Nuffic staff members will discuss major developments in international and Dutch higher education.
We will focus on those issues that we deal with everyday at Nuffic: international mobility, transparency & recognition, development cooperation, trends in the international higher education market, impact and effects of internationalization, national and institutional internationalisation policies and developments in the European higher education arena.
In discussing these issues we will relate to current events and recent developments in international higher education. Our blog entries sometimes provide background information on these events, while at other times they are more analytical in scope. Sometimes informative, at other times they might be more thought-provoking.
Whatever the nature of the blog item, we encourage you to comment and hope you will join the discussions. We review comments before they're posted, and those that are off-topic or promote commercial products generally won't make the cut. Keep in mind that we can't respond to every comment. We also expect a basic level of civility; disagreements are fine, but mutual respect is a must. Abusive language will not be tolerated. We will display your name with your comments but we will not publish your email address.
We emphasise that the views and opinions expressed in this blog or in the comments are those of the authors and not necessarily those of Nuffic.
Main contributors are staff of the Knowledge and Innovation Directorate of Nuffic. We also offer opportunities for guest bloggers involved in international higher education.
If you are interested in contributing to the blog, please send us a message using the contactform. You can also use this form for any other suggestions for improving the Nuffic newsmonitor.
