When exactly should project activities be completed?
Training (from start to finish, including the report) should be completed within a period of one year.

Do applicants (organisations) need to submit proof of registration with the Chamber of Commerce (KvK)?
Yes, but in the case of a consortium only the lead organisation needs to submit proof of registration with the Chamber of Commerce.

Do applicants have to submit annual accounts (financial statements and an auditor’s report) for the past years?
No, applicants need not submit any annual accounts for the past years.

Regarding costs for specialised third-party trainers, should we include VAT in the budget? Should we also include VAT when calculating the prices for our international flights?
No, there is no need to calculate VAT or include it in the budget, as the VAT zero rating applies for the NFP-TMT.

How do we deal with changes in ticket prices, e.g. the price that was budgeted does not cover the actual cost due to unforeseen ticket price increases. Can this be covered by the contingency funds?
It is important that budgets are prepared realistically, accounting for potential changes in ticket prices. In case of unforeseen higher prices, project partners should always first review the possibility to cover the expenses from the existing operational budget before resorting to the contingencies budget. Any use of the contingencies budget should always first be approved by Nuffic.

Should the requesting organisation be a single organisation or is it also possible for two or three organisations to apply together?
It is possible for more than one organisation to apply for Tailor-Made Training. However, it should be made very clear which organisation is the lead organisation. The lead organisation will be the one which potential Dutch organisations will get in touch with during the tender procedure and the implementation of the training. The applying organisations should also have similar backgrounds and needs.

Should the coordinator be an employee of the requesting organisation?
The coordinator does not need to be an employee of the requesting organisation. However, as the Dutch provider will mostly be coordinating things, it is more convenient and efficient to deal with a local coordinator that is well informed. This means that an employee functioning as coordinator will usually be the preferred situation.

Is a Declaration of Acceptance to be filled in by all participants of the training or only the person responsible at the requesting organisation?
The Declaration Of Acceptance is only to be filled in by the legal representative of the requesting organisation.

Is it necessary to submit an additional list of names of course participants and their roles, and do they also need to submit additional statements for participation in the course?
At the stage of writing a training application or proposal, a list of names of the participants, their job roles and statements of availability is not required. Only a general description of the background of the group of participants and the number of trainees needs to be included in the application or proposal.

Is it possible to include representatives of other institutions in the training?
This is allowed as long as it is made clear in the proposal that this contributes to building the capacity of the requesting organisation. It is also important that there is one lead organisation.

Is it possible to use some of the funds for purchasing training-related equipment that would then stay with the requesting organisation?
No, the funding can only be used for training purposes.
