Good Practices in Internationalisation Platform
The Good Practices in Internationalisation Platform (GPIP) is a website managed by the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO). The website allows education institutions to share and learn from each other’s good internationalisation practices.
Among other things, the GPIP website includes the good practices assessed by the NVAO within the framework of internationalisation as a distinctive quality feature. The organisation also invites Dutch and Flemish higher education institutions to submit other examples of good practices. These are then assessed by a panel of Dutch and Flemish internationalisation experts.
Criteria for good practices
Institutions can submit good practices where these have a positive and demonstrable effect on the quality of the education provided. This means that relevant evidence should be submitted and that all data can be verified.
Examples of good practices should be exchangeable between the institutions, so that they can learn from each other.
The good practices available on the GPIP are examples of standards of internationalisation as a distinctive quality feature with regard to vision, learning outcomes, teaching & learning, staff, and students.
