About JDAZ
JDAZ (Joint Degrees from A to Z) is an initiative of a consortium of six Erasmus Mundus National Structures. The Erasmus Mundus National Structures are responsible to inform and advise Higher Education Institutions that wish to develop an Erasmus Mundus joint (degree) programme.
Objective
Target groups
Duration and main activities
The JDAZ project runs from 15 September 2012 until 1 April 2015. The following activities are foreseen:
- desk research;
- 3 project meetings;
- produce a blueprint and develop a prototype, beta and final version of the reference guide;
- online external consultations (online surveys) of blueprint (EMNS network) and beta version (wide range of end users in the EHEA);
- 1,5-day seminar to test protoype version of the guide and collect examples of good practice;
- dissemination of (preliminary) project results (guide).
Expected outputs
- the publication of a guide that provides information on all relevant issues relating to developing, establishing and sustaining high quality international joint degree programmes;
- an integrated presentation of information that contributes to coherent knowledge and expertise of Erasmus Mundus coordinators and higher education institutions.
Dissemination of results
The (preliminary and final) project results will be disseminated during and after the lifetime project:
- within and through the Erasmus Mundus National Structure network;
- on this project website;
- through newsletters of project partner organisations and their relevant networks;
- through further targeted distribution to reach end users (e.g. via domestic and international organisations, Eramus Mundus Alumni organisation, and university networks).
