Closure of Dutch embassies and consulates - update

Visas and Authorisations for Temporary Stay can no longer be applied for in all countries as Dutch embassies and consulates have closed or will be closing in a number of countries. Several other offices are no longer performing these tasks. In both cases, other Dutch offices in the region will be taking over these tasks.

Holland alumni in Turkey to meet Dutch royals

Alumni of Dutch higher education institutions in Turkey are invited to join the Brainport Innovation Seminar, a Dutch-Turkish Alumni Network Event. The event will take place in the presence of Their Royal Highnesses the Prince of Orange and Princess Máxima of the Netherlands on Saturday 10 November 2012.

Participate in EU consultation on immigration procedures

The European Commission has launched a consultation on possible changes to the existing EU rules on entry and residence for non-EU students and researchers. Currently, there are specific legal rules at EU level on how students and researchers from outside the EU can come to the EU and move between its Member States, if the relevant period of study or research exceeds three months.
