Nuffic provides two training courses in credential evaluation to clients interested in developing their skills in this area: ‘Using the country modules to evaluate foreign credentials’ and ‘Credential evaluation: criteria and procedures’.
Using the country modules to evaluate foreign credentials
On Nuffic's website, the education systems of over 50 countries are described in our country modules. The modules enable education institutions in the Netherlands to evaluate relatively straightforward qualifications without having to consult Nuffic.
The purpose of this course is to familiarize users with the country modules and how they can apply the information to evaluate foreign credentials. The Dutch version of the course lasts four hours and is given at Nuffic twice a year. The course can also be given in English.
Credential evaluation: criteria and procedures
The more individualised course is tailor-made and developed together with individual clients to meet their specific training needs. The course is primarily intended for staff working at education institutions and in private companies, who for whatever reason need to understand and evaluate foreign qualifications.
Nuffic can assist clients in determining the content of the course. Depending on the client’s preference, these training courses can be held at their offices or at Nuffic.
