Project description

This project aims to increase the efficiency level of post-secondary technical education in Manica, including the development of entrepreneurial skills to prepare students to enter the labour market. This will be achieved by creating a partnership between the Agrarian Institute of Chimóio (IAC) and the Polytechnic Institute of Manica (ISPM).

The expected results include a business plan and curriculum and skills development of IAC and ISPM staff.

The Dutch consortium will assist with capacity building to create a systematic approach to gender issues, pay attention to Monitoring and Evaluation, and offer English courses to staff who are directly involved in the project.

Furthermore, all the changes emerging from this project will be aligned with national policies and actions in the technical sector, as formulated under the Technical and Vocational Education Reform Project (PIREP).
