Project description
This project will improve the quality of services in the management of water and sanitation initiatives with the inclusion and participation of women. It will also increase the number of competent (male and female) water and sanitation graduates at the university level.
This will be achieved through the design and implementation of a student-centred water and sanitation course aimed at preparing professionals who can be well integrated in the labour market, also at the community level.
The project will also enable ESUDER to implement the new course by providing infrastructure, equipment and course materials, by recruiting and training lecturers and by establishing a network of relevant stakeholders as to ensure permanent labour market linkages.
As inputs ESUDER expects, among other things, technical assistance to design and implement the course (e.g. deskwork, workshops with the labour market, benchmarking).
