Project description
Logistics plays a key role in Indonesia's socio-economic development. ITB's Faculty of Industrial Technology is an important provider of multimodal logistics training.
This project aims to develop a separate Bachelor in Logistics at ITB which meets the requirements of Indonesia’s logistics sector. Specifically, the project intends to:
- strengthen ITB's organisational capacity to set up and deliver a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics that produces well-educated and qualified logisticians.
- enable ITB to produce logisticians with a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics who meet the requirements of the private and public sector at operational and managerial level.
- strengthen ITB's organisational capacity to facilitate gender mainstreaming in curriculum and higher education governance at the faculty of Industrial Technology.
The project will start with a draft curriculum that will be reviewed and revised, as required.
The project will also train management and teaching staff, develop all teaching materials, and pilot the Bachelor's degree.
