This project has been developed by a consortium of five organisations headed by the Universidad Central. The tender for this project expired on 8 November 2010. Nuffic has awarded this tender to MDF Training & Consultancy BV, which has formed a consortium with Utrecht University.

Project description

The participating organisations wish to mainstream gender equality in programmes and promote gender among their academic, administrative and community stakeholders.

This project will support the consortium to:

• develop education and training programmes with gender perspective for lecturers;
• introduce gender equity in curricula;
• strengthen research techniques;
• implement communication and spread gender practices among higher education institutions.
