Project description
The mission of Unillanos, founded in 1974, is to provide education and training to students in the eastern region of Colombia. In 1984 Unillanos first introduced open university and long-distance education systems at its local CERES centres.
Unillanos needs to modernise its administrative and financial procedures to improve its service coverage. In addition it must adjust curricula and virtual education to mainstream gender and meet labour market demand.
This project will support Unillanos to:
- develop new organisational, financial and administrative skills;
- provide ICT training for its staff;
- train staff in new research methodologies that include gender, labour market issues and the socio-economic and cultural context.
