The tender for this project expired on 29 January 2013. Nuffic's Tender Evaluation Committee (TEC) has not yet selected the winning bid.
Project description
The objective of this project is to introduce effective Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), and higher education in the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) sector in Bangladesh.
This project aims to create a better understanding and recognition of SRHR, to build capacity among stakeholders working in the field and to encourage an integrated and rights based approach.
It will provide a holistic understanding which will recognise how health indicators are shaped by cultural, social, and economic factors; will address how reproductive health and well being are inextricably linked to reproductive and sexual rights; and adequately address and make real progress in contributing to the improvement of overall health in Bangladesh.
