Criteria and priorities
To qualify for Tailor-Made Training, both the application and the requesting organisation must meet a number of criteria. There are also a number of regional and thematic priorities.

Criteria
If you are interested in Tailor-Made Training, both the organisation and the application must meet the following criteria:
Eligibility criteria for organisations requesting a Tailor-Made Training
- You must be based in one of the countries on the NFP country list valid at the time of application.
- You are not a large industrial, commercial, international or multinational organisation, which can be assumed to have sufficient resources of its own to finance staff training.
- You are not a bilateral donor organisation or a multilateral donor organisation.
- You are not an international NGO.
- The field in which you operate is relevant to the sustainable development of your country.
Eligibility criteria for Tailor-Made Training applications
- The subject of the proposed Tailor-Made Training must be relevant to the needs you have identified within your organisation.
- The proposed trainees must have a clear-cut, functional relationship with your organisation.
- On completion of the training, the trainees should be in a position to introduce their newly acquired skills and knowledge into your organisation.
- The organisation must guarantee to continue to pay the trainees' salaries and to hold jobs open for them during their participation in the training course.
Priorities
The TMT programme aims to allocate around 50% of the overall budget to training requests from organisations based in Sub-Saharan Africa.
In addition, priority will be given to training courses that:
- address gender issues;
- involve a local training provider;
- are provided in your country or region.
