* The consular department of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Asmara has been closed since 1 October 2011. For short stay visa applications please contact the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway in Asmara. The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Khartoum, Sudan, will process applications for residence permits.

** The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Abidjan is closed. Originally, the Netherlands Embassy in Accra would assess NFP applications originating from Ivory Coast. Unfortunately, this embassy is not in the position to verify documents from applicants from Ivory Coast.
